The Campus Cash program allows you to use your AUS ID card as a debit card to make purchases from participating campus outlets.

What are the advantages of having a Campus Cash account?

With Campus Cash, convenience is key!

• Cardholders will not have to carry any cash to make purchases on campus, which ensures complete money security.
• Cardholders can keep track of the amount of money they spend on campus by checking their accounts on Banner.
• The balance on your card will allow you to print over the maximum free printing limit.
• Some participating vendors will offer special discounts or offers when you use your Campus Cash account.

How do open my Campus Cash account?

Simply make a deposit to your Campus Cash account at the Cashier’s Office. Once the deposit is made, you can use your ID card to make purchases at the participating outlets. There is no minimum deposit.

Is the Campus Cash account safe?

The card can only be used at the participating outlets on the AUS campus. Purchases can be made only by the original cardholder. This ensures that your money is completely secure.

Once a purchase is made, be sure to sign and collect your copy of the receipt from the vendor for future reference. Always keep your receipts and check your Banner account regularly.

How can I check the balance in my Campus Cash account?

You can check the amount of money in your account at https://banner.aus.edu/

What if I lose my card?

You must contact ext. 2242 during office hours to deactivate the card. After paying the replacement card fee of AED 100 levied by the university, you can reactivate your account by calling ext. 2242.

Can I get a refund of the balance in my Campus Cash account?

You may collect a refund from the Finance Department only if you meet the criteria as listed in the Policies and Procedures section.

If my card doesn’t work, what can I do?

First, check your balance by logging into your Banner account. If sufficient funds do exist and the card is still not functional, please contact ext. 2242 during office hours.
