General Information:

The Logistics Division is responsible for the following areas;

STORES - Supply, movement and storage of goods and materials.  The Stores fulfillment process covers:

  • Central Receiving
  • Storage
  • Stores Order Processing & Issuance
  • Delivery
  • Bottled Water distribution ( Main, Library & academic buildings)
  • Manage non-store items (3rd party) and provide suitable temporary storage areas where available

FIXED ASSET - Responsible and accountable for all capital and fixed assets of the campus. The Fixed Asset customer servicing includes:

  • Tagging all new assets with bar code label
  • Tracking
  • Inventory
  • Assistance in shifting and documentation of assets
  • Disposal

POST OFFICE & COPY CENTER

  • Mail, Stamp
  • Express/Courier
  • Mail Box facility
  • Duplication including binding services
  • Internal mail distribution

CALL CENTER

  • Central point of contact to process work order requests
  • Telephone switchboard

PRINT MANAGEMENT

  • Supply and delivery of consumables (paper, toner/cartridges) for network printers
  • Manage leased photocopiers
  • Supply and delivery of FOC (free of charge) consumables for leased photocopiers

Location

The Logistics office is located in the basement of the Main Building (MB). Stores (Stationery, Facilities, Housing, Transit and Furniture) are also housed in the same area where receiving and issuance of goods takes place.
