As the best brand ambassadors of our university, our alumni are the pride of AUS.

The Office of Development and Alumni Affairs (ODAA) was established in 2007 to enhance the relationship between AUS and its alumni thereby encouraging excellence in its graduates. With a vision to be the best institutional advancement operation in the region, our office contributes to the mission of the university by providing comprehensive and lifelong support and services to AUS's alumni and students, and by serving as the liaison between the university and alumni friends and organizations.

The primary role of our office is to provide a clear vision of the importance of our alumni to the mission of the university and to develop, sustain and expand opportunities for alumni. We also foster and strengthen the intellectual connections to the AUS community and provide all alumni with a range of programs and services that will engage them with the university and with each other such as research initiatives, executive capacity-building/training opportunities and outreach programs.

We also work closely with the board of the AUS Alumni Association (AUSAA) to represent the interests of the alumni leadership to the university and the needs of the university to the alumni leadership as well as providing the necessary framework that facilitates the implementation of the objectives of the AUSAA.
