Directorate of Corporate Relations (DCR)
Directorate of Corporate Relations (DCR) provides a variety of services to students, employers, alumni and faculty members. Providing career information, placement services, career counseling, and business partnership are the core activities of DCR.
Through one-on-one or group counseling sessions, DCR staff members help students make the right start on their career path. In addition to individual guidance, DCR offers presentations and workshops on topics that help students develop their job searching skills, build their time management, teamwork and communication skills. Other DCR programs focus on career opportunities available to specific majors.
DCR developed a successful outreach programs that focuses on the interaction between AUS and the industry aiming to bridge the gap. The annual Career Fair, Schools & Colleges OpenDays are the capstones events that allow representatives from the leading corporations in the Gulf to meet and
informally interview our senior students, which are the best and the brightest in the region, few months prior to graduation.
Through DCR services, students are able to identify internship, training and employment opportunities that enhance their knowledge and professional experience in different fields of study. In addition, employers identify excellent candidates for their vacancies through DCR.
