The Career Advising & Placement Services Department (CAPS) provides services to students at all stages of their academic career whether as a freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors or graduates.
While studying at AUS, the staff at CAPS will assist you in making the right decisions about your future by

It is never too soon to be thinking about your future. Many students have career goals, but there are many who do not. If you are not sure whether you want to be an engineer or an architect, come to CAPS for guidance and perhaps take a computer-aided assessment test.

CAPS REGISTRATION
In order to register with us, all you need to do is bring in a copy of your resume (CV) and a cover letter. If you have never done so before, then we will guide you through the process of creating your own.
Once your resume and cover letter are completed, you will be included in our student database. If you are job seeking and a vacancy that meets your criteria comes about, we will contact you immediately.

Yes. We have many samples to give you ideas on different techniques and styles.
Does CAPS have vacancy lists?
CAPS has full-time and sometimes part-time opportunities available. These vacancies are advertised on the Vacancy Board at CAPS and also distributed to the Schools across campus.
Can I check out books from CAPS library?
CAPS books are for reference only. However, you are free to do your career research at our library during CAPS working hours. The latest in career-related reference material and daily newspapers is also available.
