Inaugural Conference of the Business, Information and Management Academy (BIMA)

Call for Papers

Dear Colleagues,

The Business, Information and Management Academy (BIMA) will hold its Inaugural Conference in Sharjah, UAE, on March 17 and 18, 2007 (Saturday and Sunday). Our Inaugural conference title is "Innovative Approaches to Business, Information and Management in the Digitally Networked World". We invite you to participate by submitting a proposal for panel discussion, or an abstract or paper for presentation at the annual meeting.

The annual meeting will be held at the American University of Sharjah (UAE). Sharjah is a growing emirate located next to Dubai. Named as the Cultural Capital of the Arab World by UNESCO in 1998, Sharjah is home to numerous cultural and religious centers, museums, restaurants and malls all within a few miles of the conference hotels.

Papers are being sought for numerous topics in accounting, business law, communication, economics, finance, information assurance, information technology, MIS, marketing and more. For a complete list, please visit the Tracks and Topics link of this website.

BIMA will publish either your paper or the abstract in the post-conference proceedings. Papers presented at the annual meeting will be considered for inclusion in our refereed journal, the Journal of Business Information Management (JBIM).
