This year’s conference will emphasize software ontologies and related software engineering techniques. You are invited to participate in SOMET-08 to help build a forum for exchanging ideas and experiences to foster new directions in software development methodologies and related tools and techniques.

CALL FOR PAPERS
The international journal Knowledge-Based Systems intends to publish a special 2008 issue closely associated with the conference. The conference chair, Professor Hamido Fujita, and the general editor of the journal, Professor Ernest Edmonds, will jointly edit this issue. The authors of selected conference papers will be invited to publish journal versions of their papers in the special issue.
