The undergraduate program in computer engineering is part of the Department of Computer science and Engineering prepares graduates for a wide range of technical positions in business and government service, research and development roles, and higher education. The program focuses on four major areas in computer engineering: computer architecture and design, computer networks, databases, software engineering and computer applications in industry.

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (B.S.Co.E.) degree is a four-year program with 140-credit. The curriculum is accredited by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research as well as by ABET in the US. The curriculum is equivalent to curricula adopted at many US and Canadian universities
