Welcome to the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) at the American University of Sharjah. We are a well-established but dynamic department with faculty and students coming from across the globe. Our aim is to educate students to the highest, international standards so that they can compete in a global environment.
The CSE department offers two 4-year bachelor programs:
Both programs are related and share a common set of courses, however, they have a different flavor. The B.S.C.S. focuses on software, Internet technologies and programming, while the B.S.Co.E. covers a balanced mix of topics in the area of hardware, networks and software. Both degrees are for technically-minded students with a curiosity for today’s technology. |
