For new students
If you are a new student and have received the document package from the Office of Enrollment Management, complete the Housing Application Form and send it the Office of Enrollment Management along with the following:
a) AED 500 room reservation fee, which is not refundable but will be deducted from your housing fees when you join the university
b) AED 1,000 room damage deposit, which is refundable at time you permanently leave the residential hall
c) AED 5,000 AUS seat reservation fee
Important: Apart from the above fee requirements, we will also check if you are enrolled for an AUS course prior to processing your housing application.
Priority will be given to full-time undergraduate applicants.
If you did not receive a form, they are available here. Please send the filled Housing Application Form back with the other forms to the Office of Enrollment Management or mail the Housing Application Form to Student Residential Life Department, PO Box 26666, American University of Sharjah, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. You can also email a scanned copy to roomassignment@aus.edu or fax a filled application form to +971 6 515 2294.
For AUS Students Living Off Campus
If you are already a student at AUS and want to stay in the residential halls, obtain a Housing Application Form from the Residential Halls Office or download from here. After you complete the form, get it stamped by Student Accounts to ensure that the AED 500 room reservation fee has been paid. Next, submit it in one of the ways mentioned above.
For Resident Students
Students currently living in the residential halls who want to renew their agreement for the upcoming semester will have to login to Banner and apply for a renewal of agreement for the specified semester and during the period of application submission announced by the Residential Halls Department. It is important to note that the accommodation agreement is valid for full-time registered students only.
