Sharjah teachers attend AUS workshop

The Intensive English Program (IEP) held the Second Annual Adult Education Workshop for English teachers in the Sharjah Educational Zone (SEZ) on February 24.

More than 40 teachers from SEZ attended the workshops. The participants were instructors who teach daytime high school classes as well as evening classes in English for adults working towards a high school diploma.

According to Amanda Ward, workshop organizer and AUS IEP instructor, the sessions provided teachers with handson activities that they can use immediately in their adult education classes. All workshop presenters were AUS teachers.
