Rules and Regulations

Quiet Hours

 

  • Quiet hours are designated daily between 12 midnight and 7 a.m. to provide more specific parameters to resident students.
  • The staff will be more lenient with noise during the day and stricter in their enforcement during the evening and night time hours.
  • Resident should not breach the privacy of others in the dorms.
  • Resident are NOT Allowed to:

1.  Engage in any disorderly conduct or interfere with the rights of other students in their academic pursuits. This specifically and especially pertains to other residents’ rights to an environment conducive to study and to sleep

2.  Engage in sports activities within the residential halls that not allowed by the dorms’ management or disturb residents’ quietness

3.  Engage in sports activities within 50 feet of any residential halls

4. Shout otherwise create disturbances from any residential hall window

5. Make excessive noise by any means whatsoever. This includes putting loudspeakers through room windows at any time and any noise audible outside a student’s room or in public areas, especially but not limited to the hours from 5:00 p.m. on Friday to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday or past 1:00 a.m. on weekends

6. Participate in water fights in and around the residential halls using water guns, water balloons or buckets

7. Drop or throw any solid object or liquid from windows
