Election Guidelines
AUS Chancellor Winfred Thompson has entrusted the AUS Alumni Association Board with drafting guidelines for the forthcoming elections. These guidelines have now been approved by the chancellor and are available for your information.
The guidelines call for nominations for the positions of AUS Alumni Association President, Vice President, Treasurer, Director of External Relations and Executive Administrator.
Those interested in running for any of the five above-mentioned positions should please (i) send their nominations to the election committee at the following e-mail address elections.alumni@aus.edu and (ii) complete the form available at the following link http://www.aus.edu/upaa/alumni/AUSAA_Nomination.php
As per the enclosed guidelines, nominations are to be submitted no later than Monday, December 10. Members of the Electoral Commission in charge of overseeing the election will be announced to you shortly.
The elections for the two Young Alumni positions, specified for graduates of the past two years, will be scheduled later, since they involve a specific constituency.
The actual voting will take place through the iLearn platform within a four-day election period that will follow the closure of the call for nominations. The names of nominees for the various positions and details of the voting process will be shared with you as soon as the nomination period ends.
Those alumni who have forgotten their password may have it reset by e-mailing the Office Development and Alumni Affairs at alumni-affairs@aus.edu with your full name, ID, current e-mail address, and cell phone number.
We do hope that you will take a few moments to vote, as each of you is a stakeholder in these elections of the Alumni Association Board at your alma mater.
