As a proud AUS alumni, I can forthrightly claim that this university has given me the right to walk with confidence, to show that I am capable, and to prove that I am well-educated. Around my workplace, everyone seems to have very high expectations of us by only learning that we have graduated from American University of Sharjah, all this due to the well-poised reputation that AUS has already built for itself, not only domestically, but now, also internationally.
Carrying a degree in engineering would give anyone pride, but my degree in chemical engineering has given me opportunities to work in a vast majority of fields, with professionals of different backgrounds (engineering or science), only because of the comprehensive platform it has planted in me. Only after I graduated did I understand the universal language this major enables you to speak, and the value of the competent professors who make it happen. In its essence, with its generic and detailed subjects, a degree in chemical engineering gives its graduates an elevated start as they step out into a challenging field. Evidently, it acts as an all-in-one package that cannot be missed.
