Adil Khurram – M.Sc. ELE, 2016

I joined AUS because it offers a fully-funded master’s program with a specialization in power electronics, drives and control systems which is my area of interest. The labs at AUS are equipped with the latest equipment to promote research and development in this field. The teaching and research facilities at AUS are fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and the environment at AUS motivates high quality research. The hands-on experience gained from the application of theoretical concepts in the lab has prepared me for a PhD degree in electrical engineering, and for a career in research and development in the field of power electronics, drives and control systems. After working as a graduate teaching assistant during the course of my master’s degree and as a research assistant in the Electric Drives and Power Systems Lab, I highly recommend AUS for graduate studies.
