The faculty members of the College of Engineering are engaged in all aspects of engineering—from the built environment to supply chains, from healthcare and biomedical to thermal fluids and wireless control systems, from aerospace to petroleum engineering. We offer an interdisciplinary environment with integration of the fundamentals and advances of the engineering sciences, environmental aspects and managerial dimensions for the engineering disciplines.
Chemical Engineering: Creating solutions by finding effective and efficient ways to use, transport and modify chemicals, materials and energy.
Civil Engineering: Expanding the engineering dimensions of designing, constructing, maintaining and managing infrastructure and the environment. Sustainability is a key ingredient.
Computer Science and Engineering: Unlocking the systematic processes underlying the acquisition, storage, processing and expression of information, including big-data, Internet of Things (IoT), smart cities and smart government.
Electrical Engineering: Developing the machines and methodologies to receive, measure, transmit and control energy and intelligence.
Industrial Engineering: Working to optimize integrated systems of people, money, knowledge, information, equipment, energy and materials in commercial, governmental, healthcare and financial systems.
Mechanical Engineering: Advancing the way heat and mechanical power are used in the design, production and operation of machines and tools.
