Ahmed Osman-Ahmed was a faculty member in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Calgary, Canada (2004 -2008). He is with the Department of Electrical Engineering at the American University of Sharjah since 2008. His areas of interest include applications of microprocessors in protection and monitoring of power systems. His work involves design, implementation and testing of protective relays, applications of artificial intelligence and signal processing of power systems.
