Dr. Maen Alkhader

Associate Professor

Maen Al-Khader taught at Stony Brook University, New York, for four years and was a postdoctoral scholar at California Institute of Technology for two years. His research and teaching interests are experimental and computational solids mechanics, material behavior at high strain rates and under impact, fiber reinforced composites and smart materials. His research efforts in the USA have been funded by the Office of Naval Research and the National Science Foundation. Prior to his academic career, he worked as structural analyst at Caterpillar Simulation Center, Champaign, Illinois.
