Ms. Claire Murphy

Claire Murphy has over 20 years of experience teaching various levels of writing courses, English for specific purposes (ESP), creative writing, research paper writing skills, as well as English as a second language (ESL). She has taught in many institutions around the world such as the University of Glasgow, and the University of Toronto. In 2014, she became a Senior Instructor at the American University of Sharjah and an IELTS Teacher Trainer. She is currently the University Preparation Course (UPA) Co-Ordinator in the Achievement Academy Bridge Program (AABP). Her many interests include professional development, content and project-based learning, and critical pedagogy.
