The study abroad program allows a student to leave AUS to study at a partner university for one or two semesters while earning AUS credit to count toward graduation. AUS actively seeks to send as many students as possible to study abroad. We have numerous exchange agreements with individual institutions and through consortia around the world, and offer many exciting options for our students to study abroad during the fall and spring semesters.

Please note: * Students going to American University (AU) will only be able to register for four courses or 12 credits maximum. If a student wishes to register for more credits during their exchange program, they will be responsible for paying the cost of the extra credit hours directly to AU.

Requirements and processes vary according to institution, and some may not have an option for visiting students. Students must contact the university directly (through its international students' office or international programs office) for requirements and application information.
