10th Asian Symposium on Intense Laser Science
The Department of Physics at American University of Sharjah (AUS) is pleased to host the 10th Asian Symposium on Intense Laser Science (ASILS10). The Asian Symposium on Intense Laser Science (ASILS) is a conference series established to encourage collaborations on intense laser science and applications within the framework of the Asian Intense Laser Network (AILN) and beyond. The first conference in the series (ASILS1) was held in Tokyo, Japan in 2004, followed by the kick-off committee meeting for the AILN establishment. From the second ASILS (ASILS2), held in Kochi, India in 2006, the AILN has been in charge of running the ASILS symposium series. ASILS3 was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2007; ASILS4 in Gwangju, Korea in 2008; ASILS5 in Hanoi, Vietnam in 2009; ASILS6 in Beijing, China in 2010; ASILS7 in Tokyo, Japan in 2012; ASIL8 in Taipei, Taiwan; and ASIL9 in Ninh Binh City, Vietnam.
The 10th Asian Symposium on Intense Laser Science (ASILS10) will be held March 10-13, 2018 on the beautiful campus of American University of Sharjah, less than 30 minutes’ drive from the city of Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates.
The conference program will include invited talks by renowned scientists and contributed presentations on issues of recent interest in the field of intense laser science and applications, such as the technology of high power lasers, generation and applications of THz radiation, photonics, optics and spectroscopy, femto-chemistry and femto-biology, and others.
