Haley Kallenberg in Concert (March 2013)
"Haley Kallenberg has brought her unique brand of music to the desert... Far from being predictable, Kallenberg spontaneously composes during performances, giving her audiences one-time only shows that won't ever be repeated again." - Gulf News, October 30, 2010
Hailed as Dubai's premiere contemporary improvisational artist, Kallenberg's music is said to be rhythmically compelling, expressive, and frequently has a quirky sense of humor. The award-winning composer and international performing artist graduated summa cum laude from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, USA where she finished a Bachelor of Music. She has studied under Janice Giteck, Jarrad Powell, three-time Latin Grammy nominee Jovino Santos Neto, George Lucktenberg, and jazz legend Julian Prister. Kallenberg currently maintains an international performing career as a composer/pianist while based in Dubai. She has shared the stage with many of the world's most prestigious artists, such as Moscow Philharmonic pianist Galena Preobrazhenskaya in the USA and Wagner Tiso in Brazil. In May 2012, Kallenberg debuted at Carnegie Hall in New York City performing her winning composition in the Ibla Winners Concert.
