Open Mic Night (March 2023)
Open Mic Night is a live performance showcase that encourages creative expression and community building.
The event welcomes short performances of poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, monologues or scenes, songs and more. Whether you're a writer, poet, comedian, musician or performer, Open Mic Night is the perfect platform to showcase your talents in a fun and supportive environment. There's no obligation to perform, so come along to listen and share refreshments with your fellow students and English faculty. Grab a seat or take the mic and share your words with us!
Students from any department across the university are welcome to attend and participate.
The event is being organized by the English Fellows, a group of undergraduate students selected for an honorary position within the Department of English, who take on several responsibilities to enhance the environment, community, culture and academic quality of the department.
