Civil Engineering Boot Camp
The AUS Civil Engineering Boot Camp is open to high school students in Grades 10 to 12. Participants will explore different specializations within the civil engineering discipline, participate in collaborative group activities and competitions, and enjoy interactive and hands-on experiments in the Construction Materials and Structure Lab, Geotechnical Engineering Lab, Wastewater Treatment and Environmental Engineering Lab, and Surveying Lab. Students will learn about the principles of sustainability and explore the basics of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Computer-Aided Drafting. They will also learn about Geographic Information System applications in civil engineering.
The camp will be held on campus at AUS. Registration is FREE but seats are limited.
