Driving Skills for Life (February 2013)
The Driving Skills for Life campaign encourages students to seek out professional behind-the-wheel driver training.
This campaign, presented by the Office of Public Affairs, encourages drivers to learn skills and techniques that will make them more competent drivers.
Driving Skills for Life (DSFL) was established in 2003 by Ford Motor Company and a panel of safety experts from the Governors Highway Safety Association in the USA to teach safe-driving skills in the four key areas- hazard recognition, vehicle handling, space management and speed management - that could help prevent up to 60 percent of teen accidents.
Today in the United Arab Emirates, vehicle accidents are one of the leading causes of fatalities and injuries for residents: there were 450 fatalities and 5,543 injuries resulting from 4,566 traffic accidents on the country's roads in the first three quarters of 2012.
Encourage your friends to attend. You can help save lives.
