ENG 207 poster presentations (May 2012)
Cross discipline work has transformed ENG 207 from a technical writing course into a language and communication training course for undergraduate engineers. The revised syllabus requires students to work in multidisciplinary teams, make a succinct collaborative oral presentation, conduct a poster presentation and produce a written report on their multidisciplinary projects.
Forty-five teams presenting posters will be assessed by cross-discipline teams comprised of AUS faculty and senior students, drawn from colleges across the AUS community.
The poster presentation is an example of contextualized teaching of highly requisite professional skills aimed at developing student awareness of their appropriate uses in authentic communication situations
