Veronika Ilinskaya is internationally recognized as one of the most engaging ambassadors of classical music, sharing her art across every continent.

During the 2011/2012 season she completed the solo tour of China, where she made a debut at the Shanghai Oriental Art Centre and presented to the Fudan and Nankai Universities. The upcoming engagements include a tour of India and UAE where she will be giving both concerts and master classes.

In January 2011 Miss Ilinskaya has started a new season with preforming Nikolai Medtner's 3rd Piano Concerto at the Royal Academy of Music- it was the first performance of this work in London since 1946. She enjoys working with one of the most promising British composers -Benjamin Ellin, whose compositions have been commissioned by the New York Philharmonic Orchestra and South Bank Centre in London, he dedicated to Veronika a set of piano preludes, 'Amuse Bouche'.

Miss Ilinskaya continues to perform actively around Europe, promoting her recent CD with the Landor Records, which includes the Scriabin Piano Concerto played with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and solo works by Prokofiev and Medtner. Some of her recent achievements were performing in the presence of HRH Duke of Edinburgh at the Arts Club, taking part of the BBC Russian Services Radio programmes, recording for Persian TV and being selected for the showcase at the 100 Club in London as part of the Limelight Classical Series in a rock 'n' roll setting. Veronika gives regular master classes around the country, recently at the Prior Park College in Bath and with the upcoming one at the York University this summer.

In 2009 and 2008 Veronika Ilinskaya was awarded with the Solti Foundation Career Development Award and invited to take part of the 2008 International Holland Music Sessions. She regularly wins awards at piano contests including the Gold Medal at the Marlow Festival Competition in 2008.

Ms. Ilinskaya made her first appearance with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra in 2007, performing before an audience of five thousand guests on the final night of the Henley International Festival for Music and the Arts. She also performed twice for the Chelsea Festival in London and completed the past season with a performance in Vancouver, Canada.

Her repertoire includes an extensive range of solo and chamber works and most of the standard piano concerti. She was the recipient of the Corporation of London, Tovey Memorial and Baltic Piano Scholarships and was the top prizewinner at both the Oxford and Watford Music Festivals in the UK.

In recital, she has been engaged by most of the prominent musical associations in the piano world including solo performances at the Theatre du Chatelet, Paris, where she was invited by Menahem Pressler to take part in his Artist Series; Alice Tully Hall at the Lincoln Centre, New York City, Steinway Hall, Cadogan Hall in London, Edinburgh Society of Musicians in Scotland, St. Martin-in-the-Fields in London, the Chelsea Festival, Theatre Royal in Richmond, the Moscow Conservatoire in Russia and many others.

Ms. Ilinskaya has performed with many prominent orchestras as a soloist under the batons of Michael Seal, Nikolae Moldoveanu, Maxime Tortelier, Benjamin Ellin and others.

Veronika Ilinskaya was born in Moscow and made her first appearance as a soloist with orchestra at the age of ten, performing the Haydn D Major Concerto at the House of Composers. She became the winner of the Russian Music Competition at the Moscow Conservatoire in 1992. After completing her studies at the Conservatoire's Central Music School, Veronika was invited to study at the Guildhall School of Music in London on a full scholarship with Professor Joan Havill. Miss Ilinskaya holds a Master Degree from the Mannes College in New York City and is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Southampton.
