Did you know that onaverage each one of us produces 1.8 to 2.4 kg of trash every day? Sharjahproduces around 1.8 million tons annually. With your help we can reduce theamount of trash in landfills.

The SustainabilityDepartment invites you to participate in our recycling event RecycleMania. Students, staff and faculty are welcome to participate in RecycleMania by putting their labelled recyclable plastic bottles and cans in the designated bins in front of the Student Center. You willneed to write your full name and ID number on your recycled item in order tohave a chance to win a prize in a drawing. The more labelled recyclable items you put in, the higher your chances of winning are!

Program:

-March 15 at 9:30a.m.: Opening and Giveaways

-March 15-17: Recycling Ongoing

-March 17 at 3:00p.m.: Announcement of Winners
