Red Baraat (February 2017)
Main Auditorium, Main Building
February 20, 2017
17:30 - 19:00
Free: Open only to AUS Community
The Cultural Events Committee in collaboration with the American Cultural Club, the Indian Cultural Club and the US Consulate General Dubai present Red Baraat.
Enjoy a merging of hard-driving North Indian Bhangra with elements of go-go, rock and jazz!
Red Baraat is a pioneering eight-piece band from Brooklyn, New York. Conceived by dhol player Sunny Jain, the group has drawn worldwide praise for its singular sound-fueled by three master rhythm makers, the muscle of horns, a raucous guitar and a booming sousaphone.
The performance is only open to members of the AUS Community.
