AUS students graduate from special leadership program held at Al-Maktoum College in Scotland
Five students from American University of Sharjah (AUS) recently graduated from a special leadership course held at Al-Maktoum College of Higher Education in Dundee, Scotland. The four-week program. which celebrated its thirteenth year this year, held lectures on leadership, management, history of civilization and other subjects, delivered by faculty members from Dundee University, University of Edinburgh, and Glasgow University.
The AUS students were part of a graduating class that comprised 63 students from 13 universities from the UAE, Egypt, Qatar and Malaysia. The graduation ceremony was attended by His Excellency Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, UAE Minister of Education, as well as Dr. Björn Kjerfve, Chancellor of AUS.
The AUS graduates are Layla Al Sawar, mass communication major; Aysha Al Sharhan industrial engineering major; Fatma Al Bastasi, electrical engineering major; Noora Al Qassimi, industrial engineering major; and Bedoor Al Harbi, mass communication (journalism) major.
