Jordanian Club organizes Carnival Amman
The AUS Jordanian Cultural Club organized a Carnival Amman event in collaboration with the Office of Student Affairs' Student Activities Division on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 on the Main Plaza.
"The purpose of this event is to showcase the way in which Amman joins the traditions of our culture and presents them in the most modernized ways thus preserving the cultural aspects of the country while making sure the youth of Jordan are attracted to them. Also, one of our goals is accommodate people who do not travel back home to Jordan with the warmest feelings of home. Or as we like to say it, we bring Jordan to people who can't make it there," said Muhannad Nabulsi, Media Coordinator for the student club.
