Nepali band Sur Sudha performs at AUS to promote peace
American University of Sharjah (AUS) hosted a performance by Sur Sudha, a Nepali band, on October 28, 2014. Known as Nepal's musical ambassadors, Sur Sudha are devoted to making music to disseminate a universal message of peace and harmony, and aim to send a message around the world about the seriousness of poverty and ways to improve lives. Through its music, Sur Sudha seek to promote these ideals through traditional Nepali instrumental music rendered with the flute, sitar and table, the three most popular instruments in Nepal.
