Panel discussion on Disruptive Forces and Their Impact on Job Creation held at AUS
As part of the annual Career Forum, a high-level panel discussed the ongoing digitization of our economy and the resulting impact on our daily lives, touching on a range of issues from digital marketing to block chain technology and data security.
His Excellency Sheikh Fahim Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the Digital Transformation of Sharjah; Ziad Al Hazmi, CEO of Lufthansa Technik Middle Eaast; Samer Choucair, Vice President of Crescent Enterprises; and Dr. Irfan Al Hasani, Economic Expert of the Dubai Competitiveness Office; presented their points of view on innovation and the resulting economic progress for the region. The focus, however, was on the topic of job rotation and the newly evolving skill sets needed for graduates to turn the challenges of a rapidly changing job market into opportunities for professional growth and success.
Dr. Jorg Bley, Dean of the School of Business Administration, moderated the panel.
