SBA goes pink to promote breast cancer awareness
The School of Business Administration (SBA) hosted an event entitled SBA Goes Pink on October 28 to increase awareness on breast cancer.
The SBA Dean's Business Team in collaboration with Top Women Top Jobs had food, games, activities and raffles. The school also hosted a comedy act, "Funny Girls Go Pink," by Funny Girls, an all-female stand-up comedy troupe. The show featured Jill Saydam, Shaima Al Sayed and was headlined by the UAE's Queen of Comedy Mina Liccione, who has performed on Broadway, MTV, Cirque, MBC, BBC, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and more. Proceeds for the day were donated to the Pink Caravan, a breast cancer awareness initiative launched by Friends of Cancer Patients, UAE.
