INTRODUCTION

Following the first Six highly successful conferences, ICCST/7 will take place in Sharjah on the shores of the Arabian Gulf. Sharjah, known in the region as the “Cultural Capital”, has many attractions for visitors. It has twenty two museums, a centre for the Arabian wildlife, and superb facilities for sports, shopping, and entertainment. In January, Sharjah enjoys a pleasant weather with an average daytime temperature of 25°C and falls to about 15°C at night. Sharjah is 20 minutes from Dubai in the United Arab Emirates . Dubai is the home of the shopping festival, the largest in the gulf area that is usually be organized in January of each year.

The conference will be held at the American University of Sharjah from the 20nd to the 22nd of January 2007. Prospective authors are invited to submit abstracts on all aspects of composites in accordance with the deadlines given here.
