INTRODUCTION

ICMSAO’09 will take place in Sharjah on the shores of the Arabian Gulf . Sharjah, known in the region as the “Cultural Capital”, has many attractions for visitors. It has twenty two museums, a centre for the Arabian wildlife, and superb facilities for sports, shopping, and entertainment. In February, Sharjah enjoys a pleasant weather with an average daytime temperature of 25°C and falls to about 15°C at night. Sharjah is 20 minutes from Dubai in the United Arab Emirates . Dubai is the home of the shopping festival, the largest in the gulf area that will be organized at the same time as the conference.
The conference will be held at the American University of Sharjah during the period January 20-22, 2009. Prospective authors are invited to submit abstracts on all aspects of simulation, modeling and optimization in accordance with the deadlines given below.

OBJECTIVES

The ICMSAO’09 will be a highly interdisciplinary conference in nature. It will provide a joint forum where engineers, economists, scientists, and mathematicians from academia and industry can exchange research ideas of latest research work in all branches of Science and Engineering involving the modeling and simulation of processes and systems. Prospective authors are invited to submit abstracts on topics related to the scope of the conference.
