Chemical Engineers combine engineering skills with mathematics and advanced chemistry to design and operate industrial processes in many different fields. Examples of these fields are:
- petroleum and natural gas processing
- improved materials
- polymers
- pollution prevention and remediation
- pharmaceuticals and biomedical engineering
- food and beverage
The Department of Chemical Engineering offers programs leading to the following:
- Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering
- Master of Science in Chemical Engineering
