Welcome to the website of the Cisco Regional Networking Academy at the American University of Sharjah.

Our academy was started in 2000 in partnership with Cisco Systems. We are classified as a regional academy responsible for establishing local academies with other institutions in the UAE and across the region. Our program follows an e-learning model that delivers web-based educational content, online testing, student performance tracking, and instructor training and support, as well as hands-on labs. It is a globally-recognized program with more than 11,000 participating academies in about 150 countries.

At AUS, the Cisco Networking Academy program is a comprehensive two-semester course that teaches students to design, build and maintain computer networks. Students are also prepared for industry-standard certifications, including Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA™) and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP™). The program combines lectures and online learning with hands-on laboratory exercises in which students apply what they learn in class while working on actual networks. From basic to advanced networking skills, our curriculum prepares students for lifelong opportunities in the real world.

AUS Regional Networking Academy awards a Certificate of Completion to students who successfully complete the two semesters. This not only certifies that the recipient passed the required theoretical exams but also confirms that the student mastered practical networking skills.
