The undergraduate program in computer engineering prepares graduates for a wide range of technical positions in business and government service, research and development roles, and higher education. The program focuses on four major areas in computer engineering: computer architecture and design, computer networks, databases, software engineering and computer applications in industry.

AUS offers a four-year Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (B.S.Co.E.) degree through its 140-credit program. The curriculum is UAE accredited and is based upon the curricula adopted at many US and Canadian universities.
