One of the most
important features of life at AUS is its truly multicultural environment. We
are extremely proud of the fact that we have close to 80 nationalities on
campus!
Our Office of International
Exchange Programs was established to foster and enhance this very aspect.
The aim is to provide AUS students and faculty with as many exchange
opportunities as possible. This includes sending and hosting visiting scholars,
aiding faculty members in arranging international study tours, developing
exchange agreements with universities around the world, and achieving
membership in the top global exchange consortia. We are also developing our
international internship program to provide students with wider internship
opportunities and application assistance.
Not only are we actively seeking
to promote our exchange programs within AUS to encourage as many of our
students as possible to study abroad, we are also working to increase the
number of students that choose AUS as their study abroad destination. Our
memberships in International Student Exchange Programs (ISEP), the Council on
International Educational Exchange (CIEE), and Academic Programs International
(API) connect our university with hundreds of universities from more than 40
countries worldwide.
