1) Can I leave my belongings in my room during the vacations?

During the short breaks between semesters, you can leave your belongings in your room but properly packed up in cartons and lock your cupboards. This is subject to you being registered for the next semester.

However, during the Summer vacation & Summer semester you may store your belongings in your rooms properly packed in cartons as long as you have registered for the next semester. In case your room is assigned to another student for summer semester, the Residential Halls has the right to move your belongings to a storage area.

The Residential Halls also has a policy to dispose of any student belonging left un-collected in the Store for long periods to the local charity by the beginning of June each year.

A waiver of Liability will have to be signed by the student if he intends to leave any of his belongings in the dorm premises.
