April 25, 2005 – Opening meeting of The Alpha Chapter of Omicron Delta Epsilon, the international honor society in economics. The Economic Student Award for Academic Excellence was presented to Husam A. Zein El-Abdin (2003-04), Sara B. Shabah (2003-04), and Ahmed H. Al-Jbori (2004-05). The Economic Student Award for Leadership was presented to Ziad Mikati (2003-04), and Shaima H. Gargash (2004-05).
