AMIDEAST

Founded in 1951, America-Mideast Educational and Training Services, Inc. (AMIDEAST) is a private, nonprofit organization committed to strengthening mutual understanding and cooperation between Americans and the peoples of the Middle East and North Africa. Since its establishment, more than two million students and professionals have benefited from our educational services and over 60,000 individuals have participated in AMIDEAST-administered education and training programs. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., AMIDEAST operates in 11 countries, our clients include students, professionals, private businesses, educational institutions, and government agencies. AMIDEAST is the premier institution for testing services in the Middle East and North Africa.  By administering standardized exams required for admissions for US institutions at the undergraduate and graduate levels, it helps make local and international higher education available to the regions many qualified students and professionals. Last year AMIDEAST administered 108,000 computer, paper, and internet based tests.  US and in region educational institutions intern, have a valuable tool for assessing applicants qualifications for admission.  In addition, the tests associated with university admissions, AMIDEAST comprehensive testing services also support exams that assess or demonstrate professional knowledge and skills, and classroom tools useful for placement and test preparation purposes.  

Our most recent achievement in the U.A.E. is the launch of the Fulbright program for U.A.E. Scholars, and a Legal and Business Program for Young Middle Eastern Women (MEPI LBFP). In addition AMIDEAST is conducting Project Management courses led by a variety of internationally renowned trainers.
