The primary goal of the Unit Operations Laboratories is to acquaint the students with some of the equipment used in chemical industries and to give them the opportunity to operate them safely. Lab 2 covers hands-on-experiments illustrating the application of chemical engineering mass transfer operations such as solid separation, spray drying, fluidized bed drying, tray drying, crushing, milling, filtration, sieve analyzing, sedimentation, adsorption and evaporation.
