Biography

Dr. Nabil Abdel-Jabbar received his doctorate (PhD) in 1996 from the Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, USA . He joined the AUS Department of Chemical Engineering in September 2004. Prior to that, Dr. Abdel-Jabbar held several academic and industrial positions. He worked as a faculty at Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), Jordan, and as a senior project engineer at AspenTech, Houston, Texas, USA, in the division of advanced control and optimization. Dr. Abdel-Jabbar has published several journal articles and technical papers and participated in many international and regional conferences. He is recipient of the Fulbright Scholar Research Award (2002) and the Hisham Hijawi Award for Applied Sciences (1999).
