Zarook Shareefdeen received his PhD in Chemical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), USA. He has experience in Academia, Biotech Industry and Administration. Dr. Zarook Shareefdeen has taught many courses including Environmental Engineering (Graduate level), Waste Management, Heat Transfer, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Mindset, and Air Pollution Control. He has two US patents and edited two books. Areas of his research publications include Hazardous Waste Management, Odor and VOC control, Biofiltration, Bioreactor Modeling, Waste-to-Energy Technologies and Algae bioreactors for CO2 removal.
