Dr. Al-Assaf: Intelligent industrial systems; neural networks; fuzzy logic and wavelets analysis and their applications in recognition, modeling and control; adaptive control and signal processing.
Dr. Lutfi Albasha: Wireless medical devices; RF-CMOS BiCMOS circuits and systems; RF Technologies; Wideband designs.
Dr. Al-Nashash: Biomedical electronics; digital signal and image processing and applications in biomedicine and industry; intelligent systems; Oil and gas pipeline integrity inspection.
Dr. Assaleh: Signal processing; pattern recognition; Image processing and computer vision; Biometrics; Robust speech and speaker recognition; Signal detection and enhancement.
Dr. Dhaouadi: Servo and adjustable-speed drive systems; field-oriented control of ac motor drives; power electronics systems; control of electro-mechanical; real time digital control and DSP/microcomputer-based controllers.
Dr. El-Hag: Testing, monitoring and diagnostic of electrical insulation; high voltage applications; electric power distribution systems.
Dr. El-Tarhuni: Wireless Communications; cognitive radio systems; OFDM; CDMA; synchronization and channel estimation.
Dr. Mohamed Hassan: Multimedia systems and communications; computer networks; wireless communications.
Dr. Hasan Mir: Signal processing; adaptive arrays; radar.
Dr. Ahmed Osman: Power system protection and monitoring; application of microprocessors, computers and artificial intelligence in power systems; design, implementation and testing of relays.
Dr. Qaddoumi: Microwave systems; antennas and wave propagation; microwave imaging; radars; electromagnetics; microwave nondestructive testing.
Dr. Habib Ur Rehman: Electric machine drives; power electronics and renewable energy systems.
Dr. Mehmet Yavuz: Computational electromagnetics; microwave remote sensing; resistivity and logging while drilling (LWD) tools; (EM based) signal processing.
Dr. Aydin Yesildirek: Navigation and control of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles; distributed control systems; real-time embedded Linux systems.
