AUS and ICAEW

American University of Sharjah and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) are "Partners in Learning." AUS is the only academic institution in the Gulf with this partnership.

This means that:

  • SBA students can easily obtain credits towards the ICAEW's Chartered Accountant (ACA) program.
  • SBA students who have the right credits (usually accounting majors or minors) only need to take one exam to obtain the Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (CFACB) from ICAEW.
  • CFAB exams can now be sat at the Exam Centre of the American University of Sharjah. Please visit the Testing Center website for further details.

For general information concerning CFAB, please download the CFAB Brochure or please e-mail cfab@aus.edu for more information. Alternatively, call Merle Antonio on +(971) 6 515 2028.
