New International Students

The International Student Services Office (ISSO) is ready to assist you with student visa and travel assistance.

If you are an international student who does not have a UAE visa, you will need to obtain one to study at AUS. The Office of Enrollment Management includes a Student Visa Request Form (Form 3) in the admissions packet. If you need another copy of the form, click here.

Once you are admitted, the Office of Enrollment Management informs us and sends us your completed form along with the copy of your passport and eight passport-sized photos you have already sent them. We then apply for your student residence visa through the Department of Immigration in Sharjah. After the visa has been issued to us, we will send a scanned copy of the visa to the email address you provided on the request form. Please note that this is a temporary visa valid for only two months from the date of issue. You will need to come to our office, MM25 in the Main Building, to obtain your final visa. Also please note that if you decide to come later, you should contact us as soon as possible.
