American University of Sharjah seeks participants for Fourth Annual Higher Educational Textbook Fair

The College of arts and Sciences (CAS) is inviting academic booksellers, educational software designers, and publishers to participate in its Fourth Annual Higher Education Textbook Fair to be held March 16—17, 2005.

The event links publishers and sellers of university-level textbooks, educational materials, and software with professors and program coordinators who make purchasing decisions for their classes. Their products can also be seen (and purchased on-site, with prior arrangement) by AUS students.

Those wishing to participate this year should e-mail Dr. Joseph Gibbs at jgibbs@aus.edu  by February 28, 2005 to be sure of adequate space and resources. Besides the company name, vendors should include the names of their representatives who will be attending, and approximately how much display space they will need.

As with previous events, the venue for the Textbook Fair will be held in the Meain Building rotunda. Hours for the Wednesday, March 16 session will be noon-7 p.m.; those for Thursday, March 17 will be 9-5.
